Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing has many descriptions, yet all have the same meaning. Affiliate marketing is a huge business piece on the Internet. It is a cooperative effort between merchants and an affiliate ís website. For many years now, affiliate marketing has proved to be a cost-efficient, measurable method of delivering long-tern results. It has become famous for Internet sites who are trying to make some extra or additional income for their site. Every day, people get interested to affiliate marketing and want to make money out of it. But in many cases, these new affiliates do not fully understand the affiliate world and make costly mistakes. In other words, affiliate marketing has often been misunderstood.
One of the common misconceptions that are being associated about affiliate marketing is selling, though selling is an important activity of affiliate marketing and the central function of a business operation. Another is that affiliate marketing is commonly linked with ìadvertisingî. While the importance of advertising in marketing a certain product is not to be underestimated, the fact of the matter is, advertising like selling, is merely a part of the many functions of marketing.
In affiliate marketing, an affiliate is compensated for every visitor, subscriber and/or customer provided through his efforts. The said compensation may be made based on a certain value for each visit. The most attractive aspect of affiliate marketing from the merchantís viewpoint is that no payment is due to an affiliate until results are appreciated.
Affiliate marketing is typically being run by affiliate networks and this affiliate networks are composed of two functional bodies, the group affiliates and the group merchants. Each has their special function and role when it comes to affiliate marketing. The affiliate network acts as a third party between the merchant and the associated affiliates. The network provides the technology to deliver the merchantís campaigns and offers. The affiliate network also collects commission fees from the merchant and then pays the affiliates which are part of the program.
The merchant is any web site owner that wants or desires to take advantage of performance based marketing. The benefits to the merchant are many. First, the merchant maintains and operates the affiliate program. If it would be extracted, the merchant needs to do their part by researching interested affiliate websites to ensure that they are a good fit for that particular website. Finding a fit for their merchandise would be the key to more generated income. The merchant has access to markets and customers without him spending valuable time searching out. Banner ads on affiliate sites are not distracting to the site user. It might produce interest for that product and drive the consumer to the merchantsí website. It is also the merchant who decides how much he is willing to pay for each sale that results from a visitor sent from an affiliate.
The affiliate or the affiliate marketer also sees a lot of benefits. The affiliate is a web site owner that promotes one or more merchants and their affiliate programs. Affiliate marketing can generate a full-time income for the affiliate. But this is not an easy task to accomplish. The affiliate needs to have a better understanding with the merchant what the commission will be, expected payment method and time involved in the contract. The affiliate has also the responsibility to stand for the merchandise their user based would be most interested in. For example, if the site has a user base of mainly stay-at-home mothers, then on-line job openings such as surveys would be a good match for them. This group would also appreciate direct links to childrenís products and informational sites. Merchandisers often provide targeted, best-seller items and personal support to their affiliate. They often offer sales promotions that will benefit the merchandiser as well as the affiliate.
Affiliate marketing is a great situation for both the marketer and the affiliate. If they would work together, they can be an advantage to both. Plus the fact that it seems to make sense, it is easy and inexpensive way to start, and you can be up and running within a few days. But there is one thing to consider, it is how to get traffic and make your offer different than all others.

How to,
Search Engine
It is the search engines that finally bring your website to the notice of the prospective customers. Hence it is better to know how these search engines actually work and how they present information to the customer initiating a search.
There are basically two types of search engines. The first is by robots called crawlers or spiders.
Search Engines use spiders to index websites. When you submit your website pages to a search engine by completing their required submission page, the search engine spider will index your entire site. A ‘spider’ is an automated program that is run by the search engine system. Spider visits a web site, read the content on the actual site, the site’s Meta tags and also follow the links that the site connects. The spider then returns all that information back to a central depository, where the data is indexed. It will visit each link you have on your website and index those sites as well. Some spiders will only index a certain number of pages on your site, so don’t create a site with 500 pages!
The spider will periodically return to the sites to check for any information that has changed. The frequency with which this happens is determined by the moderators of the search engine.
A spider is almost like a book where it contains the table of contents, the actual content and the links and references for all the websites it finds during its search, and it may index up to a million pages a day.
Example: Excite, Lycos, AltaVista and Google.
When you ask a search engine to locate information, it is actually searching through the index which it has created and not actually searching the Web. Different search engines produce different rankings because not every search engine uses the same algorithm to search through the indices.
One of the things that a search engine algorithm scans for is the frequency and location of keywords on a web page, but it can also detect artificial keyword stuffing or spamdexing. Then the algorithms analyze the way that pages link to other pages in the Web. By checking how pages link to each other, an engine can both determine what a page is about, if the keywords of the linked pages are similar to the keywords on the original page.

Every affiliate marketer is always looking for the successful market that gives the biggest paycheck. Sometimes they think it is a magic formula that is readily available for them. Actually, it is more complicated than that. It is just good marketing practices that have been proven over years of hard work and dedication.
There are tactics that have worked before with online marketing and is continuing to work in the online affiliate marketing world of today. With these top three marketing tips, you will be able to increase your sales and survive in the affiliate marketing online.
What are these three tactics?
1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.
Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.
You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.
2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.
Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.
Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.
3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.
Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 300-600 words in length. By continuously writing and maintaining these articles you can generate as many as 100 targeted readers to your site in a day.
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people are likely to buy your product or get your services. If you can generate as much as 1,000 targeted hits for your website in a day, that means you can made 10 sales based on the average statistic.
The tactics given above does not really sound very difficult to do, if you think about it. It just requires a little time and an action plan on your part.
Try to use these tips for several affiliate marketing programs. You can end maintaining a good source of income and surviving in this business that not all marketers can do.
Besides, think of the huge paychecks you will be receiving.

Blogging Tips,
Make Money Online
Does your blog make money now?
if you are a blog novice, the steps you need to follow are:
- Start your blog, whether register to establish blog site or host your own blog.
- Write and post some articles.
- Make a link and drive traffic to your site.
- Monitor and learn how to turn your visitors to subscriber or buyer.
If you already spend a fair amount of time blogging, money may come to you literally as soon as you ask for it. Once you have an established blog with a regular readership, it is easy to turn a profit through advertising.
By hosting sponsored links or banners, you can see income from your hobby almost overnight. Even if you did not start your blog intending to turn a profit, making supplementary income from your blog may be easier than you think.
Of course, even for people who have spent months or years blogging, money from advertising revenue may not add up to a large sum. The amount of money that you can make as a blogger depends on a lot of different factors, but perhaps the most important element of the equation is the topic of your blog. If your blog is on a subject that appeals to a demographic that advertisers have a strong desire to reach, you will be more likely to be able to turn a large profit on your blog than if your blog is on a fairly obscure subject that does not draw the kind of audience that advertisers need to appeal to.
Of course, the only way to find out where you fall on this spectrum is to try hosting some ads. If you are already blogging, you have nothing to lose.
How to find advertiser?
Of course, if you are not full time blogger, you faced some difficulty to get advertiser to place ads in your blog, you can join some blog money making site which you can copy and paste ads to your blog in a minute. I will share out more about this soon.

Blogging Tips,
Domain Name,
Hosting
If you want to start a blog site, you have 2 choices.
- Joining a established blogging site like, blogger, live journal or wordpress
- Start a blog site with your own hosting and own domain name
Joining a established blogging site like, blogger, live journal or wordpress
Joining an established blogging site like live journal or blogger has
plenty of advantages, especially for the blog novice. Sites that host
a lot of different blogs often have very useful tutorials about building
and updating your blog, and you are likely to encounter a very user-
friendly software interface at an established blogging site. In addition,
these sites provide a kind of instant community of fellow bloggers who
can provide advice, insight, and feedback. These established sites often
keep directories of their members, which can be great news for your
traffic logs because it means that other bloggers on the site will find
out about your pages.
However, there are also some downsides to linking up with a large
blogging site. By posting within the established templates of a site
like blogger, you run the risk of having your blog look and feel like
everybody else’s. The blogging movement is very much about the
creation of distinctive sites and the development of individual voices,
so it makes plenty of sense that many bloggers would shy away from
the cookie-cutter look and feel that these blogging sites often promote.
Many bloggers feel that the content of a blog is what makes it distinctive,
not the look of the blog, but many members of the blogging community
feel that the visual impact of a blog should match the originality of the writing.
Start a blog site with your own hosting and own domain name
Start a blog site with your own hosting and domain name is very important.
If you are a blog novice, I suggest your join a established blog site to create
a blog site in few minutes. But, I strongly recommend your host your blog
with own domain name, http://www.yourname.com. Just like my blog site,
http://www.perryho.net. People think that host an own domain name blog site
is very costly. So they rather choose the free service from established blog site
provider. This is not true at all, now day, you can host your own blog as low as
USD 0.07 a day with word press blog system ready. We choose an easy remember
domain name to build our blog brand awareness. Your blog have your own domain
name, blog logo and personalized blog theme design. Yes, you only need to publish
your domain name, peoples will remember it and visit your blog frequently.
My View
Both option above have pro and cons, there are no wrong to choose either one.
We can said that, Established blog site are suitable for blog novice and you recommend
to host your own domain name blog after some time when you know more about
blogging. Enjoy your blogging.

Apple,
MAC,
Microsoft,
Window
I just shift from Window platform to MAC platform after 10 years using Window OS. I already experienced Windows OS from Window 3.11 until Vista.
Today I want to share something about the OS heart, Control Panel or we called it System Preferences in MAC.

Both control panel almost same from feature wide.
MAC emphasize in User Friendly, it come with Dock, Expose & Spaces and Spotlight. All above allow user to control the MAC more effectively.
Window control panel more in setting, especially setup the Firewall and Security Center. It also come with Administrator which we can setup IIS, Services and Data Source.
I found that the Network Setting in MAC are quick easy. It even can detect the network setting automatically.
MAC have the strength in end user experience and Window have the strength in Corporate Workspace.
In MAC, I still not sure how to control the Start Up Items, I try to figure out the way to add and remove Start Up Item but failed. According the Internet resources, We need to go to Library - StartUpItem Folder to delete the file, BUT, i found nothing inside the folder.
