In Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, when you click Stack folder, it will open the folder and close the Stack, but for the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, the Stack can open multi folder by clicking the Stack folder. 3G iPhone………..

Posted by admin on Jun 8, 2008 in Apple, Mobile Phone, iPhone

Apple will release 3G version for iPhone this year. Yes , 2008. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs has confirmed. Today already 6 June, we still no news about 3G iPhone. I also not sure it will call 3G iPhone or not? :-) The new version iPhone still not yet named. Maybe it will call iPhone v2.0.

Photobucket

When we key in iPhone and search, we can get more than million of results. All the information are still not confirm yet. So we have a lots of question……

1. When is the 3G iPhone available? for U.S, for Asia and especially for our country, Malaysia.

2. What is the price? Lower than iPhone? Is that will bundle with Malaysia Telcos with Air Time Plan? or sell stand alone in Malaysia?

3. What is the 3G iPhone Specification? Really have 3G or 3.5G? 32GB Version?

Since Apple released iPhone last year June, we are awaiting for 3G Iphone release June as well. Yes, this month. I guess the 3G iPhone will release June-July this year. All Malaysian have to wait, because the release I guess is only for U.S Market. 3G Coverage in Malaysia still growing, We not cover all country yet. If we have 3G iPhone, we only can use it within certain areas. :-)

I am sure that 3G iPhone will have 16GB version, but is combination of 8GB version and 16GB version or combination of 16GB version and 32GB version? I don’t think 3G iPhone will available for 64GB version now.

What is the price for 3G iPhone?

Currently iPhone available for USD499 for 16GB. Apple for sure will drop the price, I guess USD100 ++, Let me guess that USD399 for iPhone 16GB EDGE version after 3G iPhone release. 3G iPhone price should range USD499 to USD599 depend on the 8GB, 16GB or 32GB.

If the 3G iPhone selling at USD499, meant that RM 1647. But the U.S. version bundle with telcos service which will cost 10 to 30 bugs. We can guess that 3G iPhone will available for Malaysian at the price range RM 2,200 to RM 2,800.

What is the specification? Any upgrade?

Yes, we can confirmed that 3G feature is built in. I guess that the following upgrade will available for this version.

Camera - We are surprise that iPhone only built in 2MP Camera last year. I believe 3G iPhone will built in at lease 3MP with focus light for night shoot.

Screen Size - Yes, the big screen iPhone is good enough now. I don’t think is necessary to upgrade to bigger screen.

GPS Service - Since iPhone already loaded Google Map Software, I think will be better if the GPS available. We can use Google Map with GPS. Great!!

I am going to attend CommunicAsia 2008 at Singapore this month. Is that iPhone will available there? Let see…..

Control Panel in MAC - System Preferences

Posted by admin on Apr 17, 2008 in Apple, MAC, Microsoft, Window

I just shift from Window platform to MAC platform after 10 years using Window OS. I already experienced Windows OS from Window 3.11 until Vista.

Today I want to share something about the OS heart, Control Panel or we called it System Preferences in MAC.

Both control panel almost same from feature wide.

MAC emphasize in User Friendly, it come with Dock, Expose & Spaces and Spotlight. All above allow user to control the MAC more effectively.

Window control panel more in setting, especially setup the Firewall and Security Center. It also come with Administrator which we can setup IIS, Services and Data Source.

I found that the Network Setting in MAC are quick easy. It even can detect the network setting automatically.

MAC have the strength in end user experience and Window have the strength in Corporate Workspace.

In MAC, I still not sure how to control the Start Up Items, I try to figure out the way to add and remove Start Up Item but failed. According the Internet resources, We need to go to Library - StartUpItem Folder to delete the file, BUT, i found nothing inside the folder. :-(
